Recommending a free, mini Google e-Course

A 9-part Google e-Course is now available for
subscription by email . It's 100% free...

Google is the #1 search engine on the ‘net – catering to
the needs of about 90% of all online consumers. It can
mean the difference between having a few people
trickle in from your signature file on a message board
or having a million hits a day from the simple fact that
Google is telling people that your site is where they
want to be.

But it’s more than just a search engine. Google offers a
treasure trove of tools you can use to increase your
exposure, allow you to make money off of sites without
selling products, and a whole lot more!

If you don’t know where you stand within the SERPs
(Search Engine Results Pages), then there’s no way
you can work on getting a competitive edge in the
marketplace. Many people make the mistake of thinking
that once they submit their URL to Google, the automated
machine takes over and does all the hard work for them.
You’ll grow leaps and bounds over the competition just
by monitoring your position and taking strides to improve
your site in the eyes of Google. This tutorial will help you
figure that out.

First, you have to figure out how your site stacks up in
its PageRank. This is the top secret formula Google uses
to consider how valuable your domain is – and the higher
your number is, the more attention your site receives.

Most sites out there are sitting at a zero. Few ever reach
a highly regarded 10. But as your grassroots efforts take
hold, you’ll start to notice that your PageRank improves
and suddenly, your site become valuable to other people
as well.

Every so often, you can use the Google toolbar and find
out how the Google Dance has shaken things up and
repositioned your site – for better or for worse.
There’s no need to panic if you see a substantial drop –
there’s probably a reason for it and you can go into fix-it
mode and see a jump the next time Googlebots stroll
your site.

Before you can start putting forth the effort to make an
impact with your online endeavors, you have to know
where you stand. Google’s constant evolution can give
you an almost endless supply of tools to create a
residual income for life.

Here's the summary of lessons :

#1. Three “Pre-Launch” Google Rules of Excellence
(Before you register a domain name, Google wants
you to know this.)

#2. Google’s Going Gaga Over Certain Website Designs.
(Here are the five basic things you need to do to apease
the Googlebots and keep the spiders satisfied.)

#3. Keywords Are a Googlebot’s Best Friend.
(To succeed with Google, you must win over
the Google bots without abusing the system.)

#4. Growing Your Site for Google.
(Micro-site? Mini-site? Massive site? How
much is enough, and can you have too much?)

#5. How to Give Google an Invitation to Your Domain.
(How to tempt Google to accept your invitation
to index your site and show it to the world.)

#6. Google Warning: The Danger of Online Linking.
(Here's how to navigate the ins and outs of linking -
-what's helps and what gets your site rejected!)

#7. Pandering to Google’s PageRank Formula.
(Find out what it takes to make your site valuable on
the ‘net and profitable in an instant.)

#8. Google AdWords: Your Online Traffic Treasure
Trove. (The fastest way to get Google bots and
targeted traffic to your doorstep - in 30 minutes
or less!)

#9. Gaining Revenue with Google AdSense
(Learn how to easily take home some of Google's
billions! Thousands of people are doing it and there's no
good reason for you to be left out!)

Network your business at MySpace Social Networking

The growth in popularity of social networking sites has been
phenomenal for online business owners in recent years.
Communities such as MySpace, YouTube and Facebook, etc,
each has millions of members from around the world.

As a network marketer my preference is Myspace :

- It boasts 200 million profiles, 350K new members/day,
110 million uniques/month.
- American MySpace hits 60 percent of 18-24 year-olds,
25 percent of 15-25 year-olds and 36 percent of people
35 and older

Myspace is no longer just a site where teens go to post
their personal blogs and make friends. The site now gets
millions of adult visitors everyday and countless business
people are using the site to advertise their goods and
services with the hope of gaining potential clients.

The site offers many features that attract people to the
different pages the site contains. By utilizing a few simple
techniques, you can advertise your business to the many
people that visit these pages.

One way to advertise on the site is to set up a personal
profile that includes a link to your business. Use the page
to reflect not just your business side but your personal side
as well. Start a blog page and begin posting articles on the
topic of goods that you’re selling. This will establish you as
an expert in your field.

Post at least once a day and by the end of the month you
will have 30 articles. Make the articles interesting so that
you build up a readership and be sure to include a link to
your business site in each post and ask your readers to visit
your site. Invite your readers to add you as a friend. The
more readers that you have will increase the percentage of
people that will be drawn to your business website.

Another way to advertise is by posting bulletins on your
personal page. List the sales and special offers of the goods
and services listed on your business site. You can also post
bulletins on the pages of your friends to increase the
exposure of your business to others. Remember that each of
the people that you add as a friend has friends of their own.
The more people who see your bulletin, the better chance
you have at securing potential clients.

Using the “groups” section of the site is an excellent way to
advertise your product. The groups are listed alphabetically
and you can join the ones that pertain to the goods and
services that you are selling. Join more than one group and
start posting in their forums. Get to know people there and
engage them in conversations. Ask the group owners if they
will endorse your product. A group owner who’s members
number in the tens of thousands is a powerful ally to have
in your corner. Be warned that they may charge you a fee
for the endorsement, but if it will increase your profit margin,
it’s worth it.

Making friends on the site is a sure way to help your
business grow. It’s important to be sincere about
developing friendships. Your friends will want you to
be successful and will let you advertise on their own
pages to help you to do so. People who don’t know you
won’t afford you the same respect. Each friend that
you make has other friends that they can refer to your
business site. Making friends is not just a way to
advertise your business. It’s a way to enrich your
personal life as well.

A Tribute To My Favorite Soprano, Beverly Sills...Remembering You...Always...

A sad day....
My favorite soprano died...
News was out 3 hours ago from Reuters, L.A.,
- Beverly Sills, the world-renowned soprano who became
the most popular opera singer in America in modern times,
died on Monday evening in New York from inoperable
lung cancer.

Sills, 78, died at her home in New York after being
released from hospital on Friday where she was being
treated for a broken rib.

Sills rose from the ranks of sopranos to become a great
American diva in the 1960s and 1970s, and expanded her
career beyond performing to run two major opera companies
-- the Metropolitan Opera and the New York City Opera.

Beverly sings :

Beverly Sills sat on the Board of Directors at Warner Bros
during the 80's where I worked as General Manager to one of
its overseas subsidiary.
