In the last week of February, 2011, Google launched a substantial algorithm change, code-named Panda aimed at identifying low-quality sites (mainly content farms). And then on April 11, 2011, the company (Google) rolled out this ranking algorithm change for all English language search queries and made a few more minor updates.
